Gut and Psychology Syndrome and Intestinal Nutrition

People need coaching and guidance today with their nutrition and lifestyle medicine changes. I can help guide you to a happier healthier gut!

Personally, I have worked many years to heal my intestines from abusive toilet training and severe lifelong constipation! I made many discoveries about what heals the gut walls and hence heals the body. I work with those nutrition dense programs that heal and seal the gut wall and restore the good microbes. In the process of doing so one heals their whole body. The quest and journey begins in the gut.

I have practiced many diets and lived through numerous eating disorders. I began with raw vegan and macrobiotic and have now incorporated the most efficient diets to heal the breach of the gut wall i.e. leaky gut, to lower insulin, and to pack in the micronutrients.

Given the current epidemics of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Lyme and Mold, Chronic Fatigue, Metabolic Syndrome, Diabetes and Obesity, numerous diets stand out with research evidence to help these conditions go into remission and in many cases, have the Rx reversed.

I work predominantly with the Specific Carbohydrate (SCD) and Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) Diets. I have branched into Ketogenic, Paleo, Whole30, Carnivore, and Intermittent Fasting. These programs help to bring down the glucose/insulin, heal the breach in the gut walls, and restore the good microbes or the microbiome, all the microscopic bugs in your gut including fungi, bacteria and virus.

With my program we go through phases in the sessions: the knowledge of the diet, how to meal plan, visits to one’s kitchen and pantry to read labels, how to eat out, what might be the best approach for you to heal yourself. I can take you through the journey step by step. Transitions are challenging especially with the eating disordered and food addicted. I am here to help you.

You may call, email or text me to set up your sessions. I begin with 3 sessions $220 to review the principles, get practicing and learn how to have fun and gain self-knowledge.

Connection between Gut and Brain disorders
GAPS™ assumes a connection between the functions of the digestive system and the brain. In 2004, Natasha Campbell–McBride MD created the GAPS program after working with hundreds of children and adults with neurological and psychiatric conditions, such as autistic spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD DADD), schizophrenia, dyslexia, dyspraxia, depression, obsessive–compulsive disorder, bi-polar disorder and other neuro-psychological and psychiatric problems. The Ketogenic Diet was originally used in the early 1900’s for epilepsy and seizures in children. Now GAPs and Keto are being applied successfully to Alzheimer’s, dementia, and cognitive impairment other degenerative conditions due to the processed food diet.
